The Noble Initiative Foundation alongside many community volunteers have been working diligently over the

last year to see a childcare facility in Griswold come to life. Thus far, the group has secured approximately 1.6

million dollars, just over 70% of their 2.3-million-dollar goal. Now, the focus now shifts to public fundraising to

help reach the finish line.

 

“We would not be where we are without the generous support of our community,” said Noble Initiative

Foundation Board President Jared Wyman. “It has been truly humbling to see the number of people who want

to get involved and donate their time and resources.”

 

The childcare center will provide year-round child care, including full-time, drop-in, and before/after school

care. The center will be located south of the Griswold Elementary School and designed with four childcare

rooms to accommodate children from 6 weeks old to 4 years old, including a separate area for before and after

school care for elementary age kids.

 

The group is in need of another 40 volunteers to join the initiative in the upcoming months. Volunteer

opportunities are available for everyone—from planning events, writing thank you letters, selecting facility

furnishings, creating policies, soliciting donors, and hiring staff. Those interested in volunteering can contact a

Groundbreaking is expected to begin this fall, with the facility operational by the Summer of 2024.
